CaixaBank is named best private banking services provider in Spain by Euromoney for the second consecutive year
CaixaBank also recognised in six additional categories, three more than in 2015
CaixaBank has been selected as Spain's best private banking services provider in the Private Banking Survey 2016, conducted by the British magazine Euromoney. The award, which CaixaBank won for the second year in a row, was based on a worldwide poll of private banking operators, high net worth wealth managers and family offices, who were asked to identify the best private banking providers based on service quality and business models.
According to Euromoney, CaixaBank, presided over by Isidro Fainé and CEO Gonzalo Gortázar, also topped the rankings in a further six categories: services to super-affluent clients, services to high net worth clients, asset management, philanthropy assessment, socially responsible and social impact investment, and technological innovation and back office systems.
CaixaBank Private Banking's assets under management grow 6%
CaixaBank Private Banking, the specialised CaixaBank service for clients with assets worth more than half a million euros, serves 56,800 clients, representing 27.96% growth against the previous year, as well as managing a total of 58 billion euros, 6% more than at year-end 2014.
The CaixaBank value proposition was strengthened by the incorporation of new account managers from Barclays Bank SAU, consolidating CaixaBank as one of the best private banking teams in Spain, with 38 private banking branches across Spain and more than 480 specialised private banking managers, as well as branch directors.
CaixaBank Private Banking pursues a simple and efficient methodology, with the focus placed on client objectives.
Winning this award for the second year in a row consolidates CaixaBank's position in the private banking segment, and represents a ringing endorsement of the management and working model used in this segment, which is founded firmly on the bank's core values of quality, trust and social engagement.
