CaixaBank continues committed to innovation, entrepreneurship and digital talent in the new edition of the Mobile World Congress (MWC), 4YFN and Talent Arena, which will take place in Barcelona from tomorrow to 5 March. With the aim of consolidating itself as a strategic partner of the main technological event in Spain, the bank has increased its participation by organising a wide range of activities, lectures and experiences that underscore its commitment to innovation, talent and entrepreneurship, which are the main pillars of its strategy.
As a trustee of Fundación Mobile World Capital, CaixaBank will be present for the second year running at the Mobile World Capital Barcelona's stand, for which it has prepared a proposal around agentic Artificial Intelligence and the advances it is achieving in the relationship models with its customers.
During the session entitled ‘From promise to impact: how generative AI transforms digital channels’, CaixaBank will show some of its AI-based solutions, such as the new agents based on generative AI that directly interact with customers in guiding them through taking out products on the bank's app.
In addition, CaixaBank will present at the stand an immersive experience that shows how artificial intelligence is transforming the purchase experience by redefining the process and the relationship with consumers. Through a digital conversational assistant, visitors will be able to simulate the purchase of a vehicle from Facilitea Coches, which is CaixaBank's vehicle financing portal, as though they were interacting with an actual personal advisor.
The experience, a demo created exclusively for the MWC, analyses the needs, preferences, budget and consumption profile using data provided by the visitors. This is processed in real-time and on the cloud. With this information, the system suggests purchase and financing options tailored to each person, showing the potential of AI to offer recommendations that are much more relevant, accurate and efficient.
Talent Arena: usability, live testing and immersive technology
CaixaBank, as the main sponsor of Talent Arena, will set up its own stand at this event dedicated to digital talent, which has consolidated itself as an event with its own identity after several years supporting the MWC.
On this occasion, imagin, CaixaBan's neobank, will take part as the main attraction in the 2026 Talent Arena with a live, immersive usability space. This proposal will enable attendees to discover first-hand how innovative solutions are explored employing user experience (UX) research techniques.
The space created for Talent Arena is structured around two areas designed to present the process of digital design in a transparent and dynamic way. The main area is a free-access environment designed to invite the attendees to explore how imagin builds digital experiences. In this area visitors will be able to follow in real-time how a user navigates in the UX Room, view the entire process on screens and listen to the interaction between the person performing the test and the facilitator guiding them: from viewing the app to the comments, queries and decisions arising throughout the test.
The adjoining space is called the UX Room, an enclosed cube structure visible from outside designed to awaken the attendees' curiosity and show the work carried out by the UX team, unfiltered. Here, we will be conducting usability tests where users interact with the imagin app while an expert observes, guides and analyses its behaviour. All the image and audio content will be broadcast live to the main free-access area, helping attendees understand how frictions are detected, improvements are validated and the digital experience is optimised.
Through this proposal, imagin brings to Talent Arena the heart of digital design, demonstrating that innovation, technology and its users' active listening are essential to building increasingly useful, intuitive and advanced solutions.
Among the programmed activities, there will also be conferences, workshops and sessions delivered by CaixaBank Group professionals on various topics related to software development, AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Management & Leadership and Future Technologies. The visitors will be provided access to the Workshop “Create your own AI Agent” and will be able to attend the lecture “Stem Women - Intergenerational lecture on leadership and talent”.
4YFN: boost to the economy of innovation
Through DayOne, the division specialising in technology companies and their investors, CaixaBank will be intensely active at the 4YFN, of which it is the Innovation Main Sponsor. DayOne will set up a stand conceived as a meeting point for all agents of the innovation ecosystem and at which it will develop three main strategic lines through its activities: growth, transformation and essence.
During its content sessions, national and international lecturers will share the latest developments in AI, investment, talent, technological trends and sustainability. Throughout the day, attendees will be able to participate in aspirational conferences and work sessions with CaixaBank's specialists or partake in exchange, co-creation and networking meetings.
The stand will also host the Dayone Innovation Summit Catalunya, during which attendees will be able to follow the finalist start-ups' pitch presented before the jury, as well as the Awards ceremony. In addition, the roundtable "PEXXI: a window of opportunity" will be held at the event with the participation of the winners of previous editions of the EmprendeXXI Awards.
