CaixaBank has launched a new free-to-use tool, integrated into CaixaBankNow and the bank’s app, which allows the institution’s customers to analyse their household electricity consumption in a simple and personalised way. The service made available by CaixaBank to its customers, delivered in collaboration with the energy management technology specialist Clevergy, provides a detailed analysis of consumption by time slot and by device, as well as practical tips to improve efficiency based on real data and recognised energy efficiency criteria.
To use the service, the user must be a CaixaBank customer, register with Clevergy and authorise access to their energy data. Once registered, the user can receive information and recommendations on a range of passive and active measures linked to energy consumption. In addition, if the customer is interested, they can receive offers for home products from the Facilitea catalogue that meet recognised energy efficiency criteria, together with CaixaBank financing solutions.
The launch of this energy efficiency calculator is part of CaixaBank’s public sustainability objectives and complements other initiatives by the institution, such as the CO2 emissions calculator for customers and the service for measuring and verifying the carbon footprint of any company, SME or large corporation, delivered in collaboration with AENOR once the footprint measurement process has been completed.

Following the launch of its 2025–2027 Sustainability Plan, which forms part of CaixaBank's Strategic Plan, the bank has pledged to mobilise 100 billion euros in sustainable finance. This initiative aims to advance towards a more sustainable economy and foster economic and social development, supporting projects in renewable energy, clean mobility and energy-efficient buildings.
