At CaixaBank, we work hand in hand with our suppliers and ask them to share the same ethical principles of social and environmental commitment that we do, accompanying them in their transition toward more sustainable models, promoting training programs, and developing supplier development plans in ESG matters.
To do this, we carry out a supplier approval process whereby, in the first of its three phases, the registration phase, our suppliers agree to respect the 10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact and to act according to the Supplier Code of Conduct . Without this initial acceptance, it is not possible to continue with the supplier approval process.
The procedure begins with the supplier registration in the Supplier Management Portal , aiming to ensure transparency and traceability throughout the process.
