In a year of major changes within the European banking market, CaixaBank has consolidated its leadership and innovation position in retail banking, winning the "Best Bank for Consumers in Europe" award from Euromoney, the financial and banking specialist with more than 50 years of experience in the industry.
CaixaBank has also been recognised as the “Best Bank in Spain” by the British publication, the fifth consecutive year in which the bank has received this distinction, and the tenth in the last 14 years, reaffirming the bank's ongoing commitment to its customers and the success of the strategy developed in recent years.
When selecting CaixaBank as Best Bank for Consumers in both Spain and Europe, the British publication's jury highlighted CaixaBank's focus on quality and customisation of customer service.
The CEO of the bank, Gonzalo Gortázar, highlighted that these awards recognise "a business model designed to adapt to the needs of customers and prepared to grow in an environment characterised by constant technological innovation".
In addition, Gortázar stressed that this recognition highlights "the effort and dedication of our entire team, whose work is key to the success of the bank and to continue consolidating us as the benchmark bank in Spain and Portugal".
